Personal care, and beyond.

Personal Care

All caregivers
  • Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting assistance
  • Meal preparation and feeding support
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Medication reminders (not administration)
  • Transportation to medical appointments and errands
  • Companionship and social engagement

Behavioral Support

With training
  • Structured daily routines for dementia clients
  • Cognitive stimulation activities and memory exercises
  • Behavioral observation and daily tracking
  • Supporting clients with depression, anxiety, or mental health challenges
  • Safety plan implementation and crisis protocols
  • Care coordination, scheduling, and provider communication

Each behavioral support activity is performed under the guidance of a licensed social worker.

Skilled Nursing Support

With training
  • Assist our LPNs and FNPs during skilled nursing visits
  • Vital sign monitoring and routine documentation
  • Wound care preparation and dressing-change support
  • Patient positioning, repositioning, and mobility assistance
  • Intake, output, and basic specimen collection support
  • Post-acute and chronic care observation and reporting

Pay tiers built for real caregivers.

Standard Weekday
$16– $17 / hr

Base rate, based on experience.

Weekend
$18– $20 / hr

Includes +$2/hr weekend premium.

Overnight
$18– $20 / hr

Includes +$3/hr overnight premium.

Short-Notice
$18– $20 / hr

Last-minute fill-in premium added.

Complex Care
Premiumrates available

Additional pay for higher-acuity and more complex cases. Discussed at offer.

Premiums stack. Combine weekend, overnight, and short-notice for top-tier shift rates. Complex care commands its own premium.

Personal care, ADL/IADL support, in a fully FNP-supervised environment.

Stage 2

LPN or Behavioral Support Specialist

After Certs

Choose your track: expand into advanced nursing skillsets on the LPN path, or specialize in behavioral support — dementia, behavioral health, complex cases. Premium pay tier kicks in.

Stage 3

Lead Caregiver

As We Grow

Mentor new hires, support care coordination, complex client point of contact.

Stage 4

Skilled Care Track

Within GFC

As you complete LPN or RN licensure, transition directly into our active skilled nursing line.

What we're looking for.

Required

Non-negotiables
  • 1–2 years caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, or hospital
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean background check including Georgia GChecx fingerprint clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to follow care plans independently
  • Consistent attendance, non-negotiable
  • Clear communicator with families and supervisors

Preferred

Bonus, not required
  • CNA, HHA, or PCA certification
  • Dementia or behavioral health client experience
  • CPR/First Aid certified (we cover the cost if not)
  • Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, transferring, bathing)
