A hybrid clinical role with schedule flexibility.

Godwins Family Care is hiring a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for a hybrid role across three of our service lines.

You'll conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) medical disability examinations for Veterans through our partnerships with Veterans Affairs. You'll see patients in their homes through our home based primary care (HBPC) practice. And you'll provide in-clinic concierge primary care visits at our new Buckhead clinic for patients who prefer a dedicated, unhurried clinical experience.

This role offers schedule flexibility, three distinct clinical tracks, and direct collaboration with the founding clinical team.

Three service lines, one clinician.

  1. i.
    Perform C&P disability examinations for Veterans at our clinic and via tele-exam where permitted.
  2. ii.
    Review service treatment records, medical evidence, and prior C&P findings.
  3. iii.
    Render evidence-based medical opinions following VA guidelines.
  4. iv.
    Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within turnaround standards.
  5. v.
    Conduct home based primary care (HBPC) visits for medically complex adults.
  6. vi.
    Provide in-clinic concierge primary care visits at our Buckhead location for established and direct-pay patients.
  7. vii.
    Manage chronic conditions, post-acute transitions, and care coordination.
  8. viii.
    Coordinate with patient PCPs, specialists, and family caregivers.
  9. ix.
    Document accurately in our electronic medical record system.

What we're looking for.

Required

The basics
  • Active, unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner license (FNP, AGNP, or AGACNP)
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong independent clinical decision-making
  • Strong narrative documentation for evidence-based reporting
  • Proficiency with EMR, Microsoft Office, and Adobe PDF
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

Bonus, not required
  • Prior C&P or IME examination experience
  • Geriatric, home-based, or post-acute primary care background
  • Military background or familiarity with Veteran health needs
  • Active DEA registration
  • Bilingual capability

How the role pays.

C&P Exams
$60– $200

Per-exam rate based on exam type and DBQ complexity.

HBPC & Concierge Visits
Per-Visitrate

Home visits and in-clinic concierge appointments. CCM and RPM billing potential as the program expands.

Malpractice
Flexible

Preference for own coverage. We can provide coverage at an adjusted contract rate.

This role is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor position, with the option to convert to W-2 for the right candidate. You set your own availability and choose the clinical mix that fits your strengths.
