Field work, not a desk job.

Godwins Family Care is hiring a healthcare sales rep to grow our private home care, home based primary care, and concierge clinic client base.

You'll own the referral-building work across our service area: assisted living, independent living, and continuing care retirement communities, plus the discharge planners, social workers, and geriatric care managers who decide where families turn when they need care at home.

You should be comfortable cold-walking into a facility, building a real relationship with a community relations director over months, and converting that relationship into consistent referrals. The commission structure is real. Top community liaisons in home care earn six figures. We're looking for someone who wants that upside, not someone looking for a safety net.

Build the relationships that fill the pipeline.

  1. i.
    Identify and build relationships with referral sources across our 9-county service area.
  2. ii.
    Conduct in-person facility visits, with a minimum of 4 to 6 per week during ramp-up.
  3. iii.
    Host lunch and learns and clinical education events at partner facilities.
  4. iv.
    Maintain accurate partner pipeline data in our Notion CRM.
  5. v.
    Follow up consistently across pipeline stages from cold intro to signed referral agreement.
  6. vi.
    Represent GFC at community events, senior expos, and industry conferences.
  7. vii.
    Coordinate with our intake team for smooth client handoffs.
  8. viii.
    Submit weekly pipeline reports with referral attribution and conversion tracking.

What we're looking for.

Required

The basics
  • 2 to 3 years of healthcare sales, community liaison, or referral development experience
  • Existing relationships with our ideal customer profiles in North Atlanta (ALFs, ILFs, CCRCs, and other senior living and post-acute settings)
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to cover a multi-county territory
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and persistent follow-up
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Self-directed and disciplined without daily oversight
  • CRM experience (Notion preferred, Salesforce or HubSpot transferable)
  • Clear understanding of Anti-Kickback and Stark Law boundaries in healthcare referral relationships

Preferred

Bonus, not required
  • Background in home care, hospice, palliative care, or senior living sales
  • Clinical credential (LMSW, RN, LPN) that builds credibility with discharge planners and case managers
  • Existing book of referral sources in metro Atlanta
  • Familiarity with VA referral channels, Medicaid waiver programs, or long-term care insurance
Community partnership development

How the role pays.

New Client Bonus
$500– $750

One-time payment per new client signed, paid at client onboarding.

Retention Bonus
$25– $50/wk

Per week of active service for the first 90 days per client. Ties earnings to real delivery, not just signatures.

Ramp Support
Yes

Mileage and event hosting reimbursement. W-2 conversion path available after sustained performance benchmarks.

This role is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor position with a W-2 conversion path for proven performers. Top performers earn meaningful six figures within 12 months by combining new client volume with strong 90-day retention. A 60-day client retention clawback applies if a client churns before active service stabilizes.
