A clinical role for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who wants to deliver real mental health care across two settings: in-clinic concierge psychiatric visits at our Buckhead location, and in-home visits for medically and behaviorally complex adults.

Godwins Family Care is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver dedicated mental health care across our home based primary care (HBPC) practice and our new in-clinic concierge service line at Buckhead.

You'll see patients in two contexts: in their homes for behavioral health consultation alongside our HBPC visits, and at our Buckhead clinic for concierge psychiatric appointments where patients pay direct for unhurried, dedicated care. This role also contributes to our IME service line as program scope is finalized.

The role offers schedule flexibility and direct collaboration with the founding clinical team.

Psychiatric care that actually fits the patient.

  1. i.
    Provide in-clinic concierge psychiatric visits at our Buckhead clinic for direct-pay patients seeking dedicated, unhurried mental health care.
  2. ii.
    Conduct home based primary care (HBPC) visits for adults with chronic medical and behavioral health needs.
  3. iii.
    Diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric conditions across the lifespan, with focused attention on dementia, depression, anxiety, and psychiatric comorbidity in older adults.
  4. iv.
    Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications within your scope of practice and our NPA framework.
  5. v.
    Coordinate with patient PCPs, therapists, family caregivers, and community resources.
  6. vi.
    Conduct Independent Medical Examinations through our partnerships with Veterans Affairs as program scope is finalized.
  7. vii.
    Document accurately in our electronic medical record system.

What we're looking for.

Required

The basics
  • Active, unrestricted Georgia Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure psychiatric experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical interviewing
  • Comfortable with independent psychiatric assessment and treatment planning
  • Excellent narrative documentation
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

Bonus, not required
  • Geriatric psychiatry or geropsychiatric experience strongly preferred
  • Home-based, post-acute, or community-based behavioral health experience
  • Prior IME or C&P examination experience
  • Trauma-informed care training
  • Active DEA registration
  • Bilingual capability

How the role pays.

Concierge & HBPC Visits
Per-Visitrate

In-clinic concierge psychiatric appointments at Buckhead and in-home behavioral health consultation. CCM and RPM billing potential as the program expands.

IME Work
$60– $200

Per-exam rate based on exam type and DBQ complexity, as IME assignments come online.

Malpractice
Flexible

Preference for own coverage. We can provide coverage at an adjusted contract rate.

This role is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor position, with the option to convert to W-2 for the right candidate. You set your own availability and choose the clinical mix that fits your strengths.
